Getting Started
Welcome to the Graham Falcon AP US History Blog.
This summer, we will be learning and practicing skills that you will need for success in the AP course in the coming year. Although none of these activities will be taken for grades, working on them will allow you to get a better grade in the course right from the beginning.
On the blog you will find the following items throughout the summer:
1. Instructions and guides to writing historical essays and short answer items.
2. Instructions and practices on reading primary sources and secondary sources. This will be an important focus in preparing for the upcoming year.
3. This week in American history items. Each week, I will have important events highlighted that took place in the country's past.
4. A comment section. Here, you can ask me any questions, communicate with each other, and get help in preparing for the upcoming year.
Have fun in the summer, play, go hang out with friends, but work a little on American history so that next year will be less stressful, more fun and you will have success!!!!
